took these photos (thx cakes) with my new 50mm 1.8 lens and have been loving the quality of it!
it's great for portraits and other macros and is pretty great for video as well.
must admit i've been pretty busy the past few weeks and find myself in that place right now where i am kind of tired and ready to graduate (next spring.. i hope) even though i haven't been this happy in a while. a strange dichotomy.
i'm taking pretty interesting classes, am still working at the restaurant, started doing research with my professor this quarter, and am trying to be nicer to my body; all things keeping me busy in healthy doses.
also, happy chinese new year! for those who have asked previously what my ethnicity is.. i'm 7/8th chinese and 1/8th german. hope you guys have the privilege to eat a home cooked chinese meal... i'll make do with panda express.
