the truth is that i never shook my shadow, every day it's trying to trick me into doing battle

truth is, it's the last day of my winter break and i really don't want to go back. i love living in san francisco and being surrounded and inspired by the often times weird, sketchy, smelly yet unique characters on the street. i saw some street kids hanging on haight the other day and there's something so attractive about the idea of living with such abandon (though really what do i know about their existence? for all i know they could go home every night to their parents house in st. francis and decide not to shower as a fuck you to their parents). but i'm not complaining, at all. i think it is normal for us to seek broader horizons and more open spaces, which is probably why i was immediately attracted to this place. i remember driving past here when i worked as a golf caddie back in the day and always being curious about what it looked like from the top.

big whoop whoop to the lovely people from MTV who blogged about me here. it was quite a surreal and wtf kidn of moment, sitting at the dinner table and receiving a tweet from MTV and reading what they wrote about me. thanks so much!
